Obituary from the Kansas City Star, Sunday, November 2, 2008 Michael James Briggs, 52, of Independence, MO, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Truman Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Mt. Moriah Cemetary. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Michael was born on September 15, 1956, in Kansas City, MO. He worked at Metalwest as a Slitter Operator.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Richard Briggs and brother Mitchell J. Briggs.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Briggs, and Mellissa and Mindy, and mother, Betty Colburn, brothers Richard and Larry and sister Linda.
Michael was loved by his family and friends.
