Kevin Keith King

Kevin Keith King, Ph.D. 54, of Maple Grove, Minn, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011, with his wife by his side.
Kevin was born April 1. 1957 in Kansas City, attended Shawnee Mission West high school, graduated with honors from Ottawa University, and completed his Ph.D. in physics at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. For the past 11 years he worked at Boston Scientific as a Senior R&D Engineer in the development of new technology for medical devices.
Kevin will be remembered for his sense of humor, ability for critical thinking, passion to teach others, and most of all as a loving husband and father.
He is preceded in death by mother, Wilma. Survived by his wife, Denise, his children, Ryan and Michelle; his father, Everette, siblings, Adonna (Anthony) Taliercio; Dale (Kathy), Susan (David) Shoemaker; Russell (Kristol); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial service 11 a.m. Thursday. Dec 29. at the First Baptist Church of Overland Park, 8200 W 96th St. Overland Park, Kan. with visitation at 10 a.m.
