Judith Dawn Wolff, 43, Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday, Juna 9, 2000, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center after a three year battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Langsford Funeral Home, Lee's Summit, MO, burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, MO. Friends may call from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday evening, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Angel flight Central, 10 Richards Rd, Kansas City, MO 64116.

Judi was born December 28, 1956 in Cherokee, IA to George W. and Marilyn Litterick Hill, She graduated in 1975 from Shawnee Mission West High School. Judi had worked as a dental assistant for many years before starring her own catering business in 1986, Heartland Catering. She then acquired the Greenwood Tearoom in Greenwood, MO in 1990. Shortly thereafter her cookbook, Hand Picked from the Heartland, was published.

Although cancer had an impact on Judi's life, Judi's life had an impact on many people. She was a volunteer of Angel Flight Central and assisted in the screening for the arrangement of tranportation for the purpose of access to medical care.

Suvivors include her parents, George and Marilyn Hill, Desoto, KS, two brothers, Richard and his wife Kimberly Hill, Shawnee, KS, and Norman Snell, Denver, CO, Three nephews, J. Aaron Mill, Andrew Mill, and Byron Hill, and one niece, Hannah Hill, all of Shawnee, KS, two uncles and their wives Gaylord and Iris Litterick, Beatrice, NE, and John and Sandy Litterick, Excelsior Springs, MO, two aunts and their husbands, Linda and Donnie Brown, Greenvllle, SC, and Pat and Jim Crocker, Peter, SC, and several cousins.

Throughout her life, Judi was blessed with many special friends. She loved all of you and will miss you. just as she was loved by you and will be dearly missed. Memories survive, goodness lives, and love is immortal.
