JoAnn A. Porter, 22, Lawrence, Ks. died in an automobile accident near DeSoto Sunday, Aug. 20.
She was born in Casper, Wyo. and linved in this area since 1967. She was a student at the University of Kansas and employed by the First National Bank of Lawrence. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Prairie Village.
She leaves here mother, Mrs. Audrey Hunter, West Lake, Ohio; Father, Charles Poerter, Denver, Colo.;brother, Scott W. Porter, Emporia; maternal grandfather, James Scott, astings Neb.
Services were Wednesday, Aug. 23, McGilley and Hoge Overland Park Chapel.
