Timothy Franklin Fields 1955-2014

Timothy Franklin Fields, 58, passed from this life on May 19th, 2014 in Plano, Texas. He was born on May 27th, 1955 in Brownwood, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, J. Franklin Fields. The Fields' moved several different times before settling in Lawrence, Kansas where he spent the majority of his adolescent years. While in Lawrence, he was very involved in Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Tim was very popular in high school and was one of the yearbook photographers.
After graduation from high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and subsequently achieved the rank of SSG. After being honorably discharged, he served in the Reserves for several years in Topeka, Kansas. He eventually moved to Wichita, Kansas and worked at Collins Avionics and this is where he met and married Chris Bennett in 1983. Jason Reed Fields was born January 16th, 1984 and Tim was very proud of his son and loved him so much.
The family eventually moved to Dallas, Texas in 1987. Tim has worked for Lockheed Martin in their IT department for 10 years and has enjoyed his job very much. The tow things he moved the most, other than his family was, the Marine Corps and his motorcycle, his love of which let him to join The Leathernecks MC and was the only surviving charter member of their DFW chapter. In 2004, Tim became involved in the Leatherneck Motorcycle club. He was very active in club affairs, holding the offices of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Sgt. At Arms and Historian.
Tim will be dearly missed by his many friends and family. He is survived by Jason Fields of Jacksonville, Florida, his mother, Neta Fields of Bethany, Oklahoma, his brother, Tom Fields of Austin, Texas, his sister, Tamra Fields of Bethany, two nephews, Danny Fields of Arizona and Joshua Fields of Bethany, his niece, Mackenzie Fields also of Bethany, and his dearest friend, Penny Baxter of Lawrence, Kansas.
Services were held on Saturday, May 24th, 2014 the Fillmore Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Vernon Cargill officiating. Interment followed in the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma with Military Honors provided by the Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard. The Leatherneck's Motorcycle Club served as pallbearers.
