Services for Jeanette Diane Williams, 43, Lenexa, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Southern Baptist Church, Lawrence. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 31, 1955, in Horton, the daughter of Donald L. and Yvonne J. (Davey) Mellenbruch. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1973 and earned an education degree from Kansas University in 1977.
Mrs. Williams was a substitute teacher in DeSoto, and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Lawrence.
She married Allen Williams on Aug. 12, 1978, in Lawrence. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include five daughters, Katie, Robyn, Amy, Emily and Lindsay Williams, all of the home; a son, Michael Williams, of the home; her mother, Lawrence; and three brothers, Donnie Mellenbruch, Dallas; Charlie Mellenbruch, Overland Park; and, Duane Mellenbruch, Eudora.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the Jeanette Williams Children's Education Fund or First Southern Baptist Church. They may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
