Fred was born on October 13, 1955 in Lawrence, KS, the son of Raymond Howard and Arvilla May (Wells) Lee.
He graduated from Lawrence High School.
He was an Electrician.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and cabinet making. He loved dogs and playing his guitar. He was a math whiz and enjoyed good visits with family and friends. He was a supporter of AA and Alanon.
Survivors include his mother, Arvilla Lee; his daughter, Julia (Ricky II) Cruse, Holton, KS; son, Curtis Lee, Santa Fe, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Ricky Cruse III, Kayla Lee and Kaylie Lee; one great grandson, A.J.; two sisters, Barbara (Fred) Lee Landa, Powhatan, Virginia and Susan Lee, Austin, Texas; and nieces and nephews, Jennifer Schweda, Rebecca Lee and Allen Lee. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Howard Lee; one son, Brad Lee and brother, Raymond Michael Lee.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. at the mortuary.
