A memorial service for Terrill Lynn "Terri" Pulliam, 54, Kansas City, Mo., will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Union Pacific Depot, 402 N. Second St.

She died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at her home in Kansas City, Mo., after a short illness.

She was born April 16, 1955, in Lawrence, the daughter of Bob and Alice Pulliam. Raised in Lawrence, she also lived in Dallas, New York City and Kansas City, Mo.

Ms. Pulliam graduated from Lawrence High School in 1973. She worked for many years in retail for Alice's Closet, Macy's and Wolfe Brothers. She also worked as a waitress for the Uptown Theater and Hereford House and had her own cleaning business. She was a singer with Irie Tribe, an all-girl reggae band. Her favorite pastimes were photography, music and her dogs.

Survivors include a son, Robert Blake "Bob" Pulliam; two sisters, Cammie Braden and Lisa Pulliam, both of Lawrence; four brothers-in-law, Lincoln Scott, Wichita, Pat Ruble, St. Paul, Minn., and Scott Braden and Kris Kramer, both of Lawrence; six nephews, Josh, Will, and Joe Scott, Drew and Jamie Braden, and Mitch McCune; two nieces, Jenna McCune and Kimi Kramer; and her previous companion and father of Bob, Joe Miquelon, Kansas City, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an older sister, Stefanie Pulliam.

The family suggests memorials to assist with final expenses and to Bob Pulliam's education fund, sent in care of her sisters, Cammie Braden, 1406 W. Riverside, Lawrence, KS 66044; Lisa Pulliam, 215 Yorkshire, Lawrence, KS 66049; or at the memorial service.
