Gregory Dennis Borel, The Woodlands, Texas 1955 - 2005
Services for Gregory Dennis Borel, 50, The Woodlands, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
Mr. Borel died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, in Shenandoah, Texas.
He was born Jan. 12, 1955, in Port Arthur, Texas, the son of Wilmer Anthony and Patricia Mary Margaret Gallagher Borel. He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1973 and received a mechanical engineering degree from Kansas University in 1977.
Mr. Borel worked as a project and mechanical engineer for Dupont, Foster-Wheeler and other independent contractors in Kansas, South Carolina and Texas. He also worked as a database administrator for Calpine. He participated as a cyclist in the MS150.
He married Shelley Martin. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Stephanie and Hannah Borel, both of the home; three sisters, Renee Coughlan, Denise Borel and Michele Karasik; and a brother, Paul.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home before the services.
