Services for Dean M. Daniel, 47, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Daniel died Tuesday, July 8, 2003, at KU Med, Kansas City, Kan.
He was born July 26, 1955, in Gettysburg, S.D., the son of Johnnie and Hildred (Harrison) Daniel. He attended school in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1973. He lived for several years in Kansas City, Mo., moved to Oklahoma in 1997 and returned to Lawrence in 2002.
Mr. Daniel was a salesman for Electric Supply Co. in Kansas City, Mo., for 15 years.
Survivors include his mother, Lawrence; a sister, Barbara Gillispie, Overland Park; a brother, Morris T., Columbiana, Ohio; and three half brothers, John L. Walters, Fargo, N.D., Willard Walters, Pine Ridge, S.D., and Norman Daniel, Muskogee, Okla.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Sisters of Mercy Charity Program at St. John's Regional Medical Center, sent in care of the mortuary.
